Advice to Centraal Boekhuis for the Construction of a New High-Tech Bin Warehouse

DUDOK has advised Centraal Boekhuis in Culemborg on contract formation for the construction of a new high-tech bin warehouse, including material handling. The new warehouse, measuring 30 meters high, 30 meters wide, and 100 meters long, will use shuttle robots and has a capacity for storing 150,000 bins for books and healthcare products. The maximum storage capacity can eventually be expanded to 300,000 bins. The new warehouse will also be equipped with solar panels on the roof and facade. The energy generated by these panels will be sufficient to power approximately 156 households.
