DUDOK provided comprehensive legal guidance for the shopping center at Raadhuisplein in Drachten, including the development, construction, and subsequent transfer of ownership of approximately 900 parking spaces, of which around 700 are in an underground parking garage, about 20,000 m² of retail space, and 160 apartments.
The project was developed by Winkelcentrum Raadhuisplein Drachten B.V. and constructed by Koopmans Bouwgroep B.V., part of the TBI Group. DUDOK handled all contracting, including financing documentation with the financing bank ABN AMRO, and also provided legal guidance during the project execution, as needed, such as in delivery discussions, agreements with apartment residents and their homeowners’ associations, and with tenants of retail spaces.
Upon completion, the parking garage was transferred to the municipality of Smallingerland, and the retail spaces were transferred to the Spoorweg Pensioen Fonds
