Theater De Stoep in Spijkenisse

On behalf of the municipality of Nissewaard, DUDOK guided the various tender procedures for the construction and outfitting of the new Theater De Stoep in Spijkenisse, including the theater mechanical systems and the lighting and sound installations.
The theater features two performance halls, various foyers, a theater café, an artist café, a VIP foyer, meeting rooms, and offices. The main hall includes an orchestra pit and accommodates 650 visitors. The smaller hall has 200 seats arranged in a tiered configuration. The theater was designed by architect Ben van Berkel of UNStudio.
